Taapsee Pannu wraps up Anubhav Sinha's 'Thappad' with a warning

Taapsee Pannu recently wrapped up her film, Thappad helmed by director Anubhav Sinha and in a heartwarming post for him, she claimed that it can sometimes be a 'curse'. For the uninitiated, this is Pannu's second film with the director after Mulk. Penning a long note, she stated that she is quite thankful for being able to work with the director again and that sometimes she sees it as a curse given there's too much 'comfort', and 'ease', and that the only thing that is little is the less number of the days that are spent on set.

Taapsee Pannu will be reuniting with Mulk director Anubhav Sinha for Thappad. Details about the film have not been released but the film is based on women empowerment. Taapsee has been apparently roped in to play a middle-class girl. The film will revolve in a socio-political backdrop. It is also reported that the film is based on real-life incidents. The film is being produced under the T-series banner and is expected to release on March 2020. Taapsee is currently awaiting the release of Saand Ki Aankh, which will release on October 25, 2019.

On the professional front: 

The actress who is currently basking the success of Rashmi Rocket is the second film where Taapsee Pannu will be portraying the role of an athlete after the 2018 hit film Soorma which also starred Diljit Dosanjh. Although nothing has been revealed about the plot of the film, 'Rashmi Rocket' seems to be the story of a girl from a small village who aspires to become a successful athlete one day. In the post, the actress has revealed that the film will go on floors soon. She unveiled the first motion poster of the movie on her Twitter handle which features her dressed in salwar kurta coupled with a choker around her neck and a big nose pin. Her tattoed neck and fingers and curly locks will definitely leave you intrigued.
