Amitabh Bachchan and Tapasee Pannu starrer crime thriller drama Badla is garnering love and appreciation across the world. After the pathbreaking AndhaDhun last year, now Badla has emerged as the content film of the year. Meanwhile, the actress who recently attended an Award function was asked about her take on not winning accolades despite good films such as 'Pink', 'Mulk' and 'Badla'.

Responding to the same, the actress stated that getting nominated for awards is not a yardstick to measure a good performance with. Further explaining her stance, she said that she does not feel any hostility towards not being nominated and that maybe she is just 'new ' or the fact that she has been a part of any 100 crore films just might be the reason.

On the work front, Taapsee Pannu was last seen in 'Badla' that gained rave reviews from the audience and the critics. The film is presented by Red Chillies Entertainment in association with Azure Entertainment, Co-produced by Gaurav Verma and produced by Gauri Khan, Sunir Kheterpal and Akshai Puri, the crime thriller is directed by Sujoy Ghosh, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles is running successfully in theatres.

The actress will now be ‘Saand Ki Aankh’ where she will be starring opposite Bhumi Pednekar and the two will be seen playing sisters-in-law. The film is said to be a cinematic adaptation on the lives of Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar, who are among the world’s oldest sharpshooters.
