Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta recently, in an interview, accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of alleged misconduct on the sets of the 2008 film 'Horn OK Pleassss'. This has become a sensitive issue and a lot of people are speaking up about the same. She had stated that while the director allegedly asked her to strip and dance, her co-stars Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty had intervened to stop that.
In the wake of this controversy, Vivek Agnihotri's lawyer has released a press statement, in which he claimed that all the "allegations leveled against my client Mr Vivek Agnihotri by Ms Tanushree Dutta for misbehaviour and/or harassment are absolutely false, frivolous and vexatious. The lawyer further stated that the "allegations are deliberate and have been borne with an intent to attract publicity and wreak personal vendetta against my client with malafide intentions."
Nidhish Mehrotra, the lawyer said that they are initiating a "defamation action against her and all the news agencies that have engaged in unethical and immoral conduct to promote sensational journalism without any diligence or proper verification and with the intent of defaming my client."
Further, he requested all media agencies to refrain from reporting the case without evidence."This press release also requests all the media agencies, their electronic channels and social media handles and public at large to refrain from reporting in this case against my client without evidence. Failing which, we shall be forced to take necessary legal action," the statement read.

In his post he wrote, "I find the entire story wrong and nothing of the sort ever happened. I have nothing to do with any politics and I don’t understand it." He also claimed that the director had asked her to remove her bathrobe, which she had worn over her costume and not asked her to strip naked.
