Tanushree has accused veteran actor Nana Patekar of misconduct while the duo was shooting for a special song for 'Horn Ok Please' in 2008. In addition to accusing Nana Patekar, the 'Aashiq Banaya Aapne' actress also lashed out at choreographer Ganesh Acharya for pressurising her for an intimate sequence in the song. The actress further went on to accuse the producer of the film, Sami Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang of harassing her on the set.

Veteran actor Annu Kapoor who has worked with Nana Patekar for some projects in the bast reportedly raised a question on why Tanushree failed to file an official complaint regarding the incident that took place. On Thursday, October 4, the 'Vicky Donor' actor reportedly said that someone placed a hand on a woman, the woman who was disrespected and insulted. He further went on to say that if this incident proves to be true, whoever the culprit is, should be punished, as reported. As per reports, Kapoor further said that it could be anyone, be it Nana Patekar, Annu Kapoor or Narendra Modi. Annu Kapoor also said that a woman's pride and identitiy being hurt is something that can't be tolerated, as reported. However, according to reports, Annu further added saying that one must bring the proof and punish the culprit, for without any proof if one accuses anybody over a certain issue, then one must answer the questions that are raised regarding the accusations.
As per reports, the veteran actor further went on to acknowledge what the Home Minister of Maharashtra, Deepak Kesarkar said on Thursday, October 4. Agreeing with what Shiv Sena MLA Deepak Kesarkar said, Kapoor, said that if someone has done something wrong, one must file a complaint to the police instead of making it a media trial, as reported. Reports suggest that Annu Kapoor said that he started to doubt the actress' intentions because of her making it a media trial instead of going to the police and filing a complaint against the accused. He also said that he is neither in favour of anyone nor against anyone but with the truth, as reported.
As per reports, Annu Kapoor further went on to say that he wouldn't say who is right and who is wrong without knowing the truth. Kapoor also went on to talk about Shiney Ahuja and said that his career was destroyed after the rape case was filed against him, as reported. According to reports, providing clarity on his stance on the situation, Annu Kapoor said that he will stand with each and every woman who has been disrespected and harassed.
Tanushree Dutta had also accused filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri of misbehaviour on the sets of the film 'Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets'. She alleged that the filmmaker asked her to strip naked and dance, in order to give cues to the male actors. However, she said that Irrfan Khan and Suniel Shetty stepped up for her and refused the director to do so.
Meanwhile, actress Tanushree Dutta who is currently under police protection after receiving multiple threats has received two legal notices and has her legal team in place to fight what she calls is not a 'news story anymore but a war countless millions are fighting'. Nana Patekar is expected to hold a press conference on October 8.
