Its a basic thing that tomorrow if I am doing a film with anyone, anyone, an I don't want to make this only about gender but suppose we all are going somewhere and there is a big crowd and someone is getting pushed around, I will want to come and see if they are okay and if anything has happened to them. And similarly, that will be their emotion towards me to see if I am okay."

Talking about how the paparazzi is careful when women reporters are around, Dhawan said, "And I've been this even with the press because in today's time there are many women working in the paparazzi. I want to say that it is your duty also to take care of not pushing them. There's always some pushing but i have noticed that you take care that the women are not getting pushed. All these things do happen, but we have to be careful about people who are with us, or make sure that nothing is going wrong."

Further talking about the incident, the 'Main Tera Hero' actor said, "I'm just saying that if any such thing was to take place at my film set then I would try and prevent this from happening, stop it. You cannot let this, let violence take over. What the matter is should be investigated. I think we have great law and order in our country. Let the law an order take its course and investigate the matter. Let's not jump to conclusions. But there is some stuff going around on the internet. There need to bee a conclusion. The law needs to step in now. This happened in 2008 and we are reacting in 2018. I think that's not a good thing."
