Ayushmann Khurrana comes out in support of Tanushree Dutta. He said that the trolls should be ashamed of themselves

After Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta in a recent interview accused Nana Patekar of misconduct on the sets of the film 'Horn OK Please' in the year 2008. She shed light on the incident that happened 10 years ago and even revealed how no one paid heed to her back then. Since then several Bollywood celebrities have come out in support of the actress and have strongly condemned the act of sexual harassment at workplace. 

While there are still several on the internet who are trolling the actress for speaking up. Speaking about the controversy, Ayushmann Khurrana said, " People were trolling Tanushree Dutta, I think they should be ashamed of themselves because she has all the rights to the complaint. There is no time limit to complaints if something wrong has happened. Both parties should be given a chance to clarify themselves."

Earlier, the 'Andhadhun' actor had revealed that he was a victim of the casting couch. While narrating the incident during an interview, the actor had said that a gay director had told him that he wants to see his private parts and feel them. In response, the actor said that he ended up laughing and said, "Kya baat kar rahe ho yaar? (What are you saying?) Are you serious?' I said no, it's not happening like that."

Tanushree Dutta has also lashed out at choreographer Ganesh Acharya for pressurising her to do an intimate sequence in the song. The actress also accused producer Sami Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang for harassing her on the sets of the film. 

 The Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA)  have also released an official statement regarding the matter and claimed that the association back then did not take the right decision and regrets the same.  Meanwhile, Nana Patekar, who is shooting for his forthcoming film, will arrive in Mumbai in a few days and is reportedly holding a press conference on October 8. Speaking to Tanushree Dutta, Republic TV earlier revealed that she has her legal team in place and will not let the case end. 

On the other hand, the Mumbai Police has provided protection to the actress after she alleged that the MNS party has threatened to attack her.
