Previously, on the day, makers of the movie have revealed that CBFC has raised objections on four dialogues and two scenes and have asked them to make necessary changes. They also stated that they are trying to solve the issue with the organization, according to the law and are hopeful that it will soon be sorted out.

Meanwhile, the trailer launch of the film will take place on December 26 in Mumbai with the film's cast along with the presence of Thackeray's son and present Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray, his family and other leaders of the party.

The film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the political leader. Its teaser has already created quite a stir when it dropped months ago. However, ahead of the trailer launch, the makers have unveiled a special video to mark the occasion. In the promo, Sanjay Dutt, one of the biggest Bollywood actors can be seen talking about late Shiv Sena party leader. He talked about the one thing he learnt from him as he said, "I just learnt one thing is that, love your country. And be tough enough and honest enough to speak the truth. And that's what he did, all his life." The video then cuts to real life videos of the iconic leader as he is giving one of his memorable speeches with his powerful voice echoing in the background.
