Seems like Bollywood newbie Sara Ali Khan is very much attached to her 'Kedarnath' character Mukku. As the firm marked a healthy start at the theaters, the actress thanked viewers for welcoming and appreciating the same. In a heartwarming post, Sara who marked her debut in 'Kedarnath' recriminates her journey through the making of the film. The actress shared two monochrome pictures on Instagram where her reflection is captured in the dressing mirror.

In the post, she revealed that 'Mukku' holds a special place in her heart. She thanked script-writer Kanika Dhillon for creating the character, director Abhishek Kapoor for nurturing her and her co-star Sushant Singh Rajput for constantly supporting her. 

She captioned the post saying, "Thank you everybody for welcoming and appreciating Mukku with so much love 💖🙏🏻 I’m already missing all those beautiful moments in Kedarnath but all it takes is a look in the mirror to catch glimpse of Mukku and to know she will always have an extremely special place in my heart and memory. Sara Ali Khan won the hearts of the audience with her splendid performance in 'Kedarnath'. The film set against the backdrop of a catastrophic deluge that hit Uttarakhand in 2013, narrates a heart-wrenching love story. In the film, Sushant Singh Rajput plays the role of a Muslim 'Pithoo', a tourist escort named Mansoor, whereas Sara Ali Khan is portrayed as a Hindu tourist Mukku. The story revolves around the intense love story of a Hindu girl and the Muslim boy as they struggle to deal with communal clashes while also trying to survive the devastating floods of Uttarakhand.

The romantic drama is written, directed and co-produced by Abhishek Kapoor. It is also backed by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor under the film production banners of RSVP and Guy in the Sky pictures. The film hit the theaters on December 7.
