The 'Manikarnika' Girls Pout To Celebrate The Success Of The Teaser Of The Film

The Kangana Ranaut starrer 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'  has been in the news of late for all the wrong reasons. However, despite all the obstacles faced by the film during the production, the makers released the teaser of the film on October 2 on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The teaser garnered a positive response from the audience and critics equally. Kangana Ranaut who plays the role of Rani Laxmibai in the film looked fierce yet elegant in the teaser.

Kangana Ranaut who turned director of the film, to reshoot certain sequences, celebrated the success of the teaser with the other female cast of the film. The actress posted a picture on her official Instagram handle, where she along with other actresses including Ankita Lokhande and Unnatii Davara are seen doing a pout, while holding a fire torch. The actors are seen in their outfit from the film. Kangana Ranaut captioned the image as, "When you happy and you know it pout! Celebrations all around as #Manikarnika girls celebrate the stupendous response to the #Manikarnikateaser ."

Unnatii Davara also bought a cake to celebrate the success of the teaser. 

Going by the teaser,  one can say that the film's primary plot revolves around Jhansi's Rani Lakshmi Bai and is an attempt to portray her strength and valour as she fought courageously for Indian's independence back in 1857. The teaser highlights the important historical events that took place during Rani Lakshmi Bai's rule, while the narration of the teaser is done by veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. The film stars Ankita Lokhande, Jisshu Sengupta, Zeeshan Ayyub and Taher Shabbir in pivotal roles.
