‘There is pressure, there are expectations’: Tiger Shroff reveals that he is ‘nervous’ for Student Of The Year 2

Tiger Shroff, who will next be seen in "Student of the Year 2", on Sunday said that he was aware of the expectations from the film.

Produced by Dharma Productions, the 2012 blockbuster film "Student of the Year" marked the Bollywood debut of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Sidharth Malhotra.

However, Karan Johar has upped things a notch by casting furthermore fresh faces for the sequel. The film features Tiger Shroff in the lead, marking the debut of Ananya Pandey, daughter of Chunky Pandey and Tara Sutaria.

"I am both excited and nervous. There is pressure, there are expectations. But I am happy with the product that Karan Johar and director Punit Malhotra have put together for us," Tiger told reporters at an event.

In an interview earlier, Tiger had mentioned that he never uses a body double for the stunts on-screen as he doesn't like taking credits for someone's work. Tiger, who has been a fitness freak, is very disciplined when it comes to his fitness regime and eating habits. The actor is known to maintain a healthy lifestyle and also refrains from eating out or opting for cheat days.

The actor further revealed that the trailer of the much-anticipated movie shall be launched in the next four days.

The ‘Baaghi 2’ actor, while he was in the middle of shooting for the climax of the much-awaited film, had shared a picture straight from the sets. "#soty2 #bts #climaxaction," he captioned the post. Donning a white vest, an exhausted Tiger flexed his muscles giving away major fitness goals to his followers.

'Student Of The Year 2' helmed by Punit Malhotra is expected to rake in great numbers at the box office. Creating enough hype before its release, the film is slated to be released on May 10.

Tiger will commence shooting with Hrithik Roshan in October for Yash Raj Film's yet untitled project. He shared that they have already shot for the introduction action scene with him. The film also stars Vaani Kapoor in lead role.
