After Kangana Ranaut, now Rangoli Chandel attacks Alia Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan for holding British passports.

Soni on Saturday tweeted a picture of Junaid Khan who was killed in a train near Ballabhgarh in 2017. The picture said: "I am Junaid Khan, Muslim boy, age 15. I was killed by a mob on a train for being a Muslim. Remember me when you vote."

Netizens reacted in a negative way and started trolling Soni over it. One user wrote: "No, Junaid was killed over a seat-sharing argument, not for his religion. Courts found so, too.
People had voted against these pathetic lies, propaganda and selective targeting of Hindus in 2014, and you are ensuring a repeat in 2019.
#RememberMeWhenYouVote". The other user wrote: "Total lie! This had nothing to do with religion. Stop spreading lies!"

Commenting on the same issue and taking a dig at Alia Bhatt and Soni Razdan's British nationality, Kangana Ranaut's sister wrote: "These non Indians who are living off this land, using and abusing its people and its resources, lying about intolerance and spreading hatred, time to think about their agenda and not to get carried away with their provocations." On Saturday, Republic World had reported that Alia Bhatt can't cast her vote this elections 2019 because she holds a British passport. As India doesn't permit dual citizenship, Alia will have to give that up if she wants to vote in India.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt recently replied to Kangana Ranaut's jibe at her 'Gully Boy' performance when she called it 'mediocre'. She said in an interview: "I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough."
