This actress feels she might faint on meeting Kareena Kapoor Khan, calls Irrfan Khan ‘God of acting’

A debut in a Vishal Bhardwaj film is not something every actor gets the privilege of. Despite an unconventional role unlike the typical 'Bollywood heroine' in ‘Pataakha’, Radhika Madan nailed her character so well that she even bagged a best debut award. Within six months, the actress also worked in the critically acclaimed ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’. The former TV actress is now gearing up for another major project, Homi Adajania’s ‘Angrezi Medium’ alongside Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan and all of this happened before turning 24 on Wednesday. Set to bring in her birthday on the movie sets in Udaipur, Radhika raves about ‘God of acting’ Irrfan and shares that she might faint when she meets Kareena.

In an interview with a tabloid, Radhika reveals there were no special plans from her end due to the shoot. However, the actress’ family and friends have come down to the city from Delhi and the celebrations, set to consist of five vegan birthday cakes and brownies, would happen on the sets. She added that she has almost wrapped up her part of the shoot and after that, she is set to explore the city. 

Interestingly, Radhika was in the same city for her last birthday since she was shooting for ‘Pataakha’ then. The actress reveals that working on a different character this time for ‘Angrezi Medium’ was hard for her because the memories of the city are all connected to her debut film character Badki. 

As far as ‘Angrezi Medium’ is concerned, Radhika called it a ‘dream team’ of Irrfan, Kareena and Homi, and that it’s yet not sunk in for her. The actress hopes that’s not how it continues so that she can put in her best performance.

Calling Irrfan the ‘God of acting’, the ‘Pataakha’ star exulted that it was a dream come true for her to be working, so early in her career, with the veteran since he’s on the wish-list of every actor to have as a co-actor. She said that she has learnt a lot from the ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ star just by observing him.

About Kareena, Radhika said that she is yet to meet the actress, but feels that she might faint when that happens.

She also revealed that the Udaipur schedule ends on Wednesday and this will be followed by a schedule in Mumbai, after which they will be heading to London.

 Radhika plays the role of Irrfan’s daughter in the movie and Kareena will be essaying the character of a cop.
