Aishwarya Rai Bachchan talks about the first film of hers watched by her daughter

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer 'Fanney Khan' released on August 3. The film is about a taxi driver who aspired to make his teenage daughter a singer. In order to fulfil that dream, he kidnaps Aishwarya Rai, who plays a popular singer, with the help of his friend portrayed by Rajkummar Rao. The film also focusses on body shaming. 

Talking about the film to IANS, the actress revealed that her daughter Aaradhya had seen of her mother. The 'Guru' actor admits that her six-year-old had seen her on Television and in songs but 'Fanney Khan' is the first film the little one sat through. Aishwarya said that her daughter had seen her shoot for one of the songs in the film and when she came to know about the screening, Aaradhya expressed her desire to attend it with her friends and their parents. So, all of Aaradhya's friend and parents were present at the screening and had a good time. Aaradhya's smiling eyes were all that Aishwarya needed to see and understand her reaction to the film. 

Talking about it being the first film seen by her daughter, Aishwarya said that the message in the film was of importance. She added that it has a positive message for viewers of all ages and there is nothing objectionable in the film that children cannot watch.

While talking about Aaradhya's interest, the former Miss World said that she is constantly singing and dancing at home, sometimes to her mother's song, sometimes to her father’s and her grandfather’s songs. Aishwarya added that they try to keep the atmosphere around Aaradhya as normal as possible. 

Aaradhya and Aishwarya make a lovely mother-daughter pair, as the actresses very often post pictures with her darling daughter and take her along on her trips abroad.

The film also stars Pihu Sand, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao and is directed by debutante Atul Manjrekar. However, the film witnessed a slow start at the box-office with it collecting  Rs 1.90 crores on its first day, raked in Rs. 2.25 crores on its second day and Rs. 2.60 crores on its third day thereby taking its total up to Rs. 6.75 crores.
