The much-awaited wedding of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone is finally a reality! The couple tied the knot in a traditional Konkani ceremony in Italy on 14 November.

While no one from Deepika Padukone or Ranveer Singh's families have officially shared pictures, the fans have made their own versions as they all wait for a glimpse of their favourite lovebirds. Joining the fanbase is an unexpected name- Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles, Smriti Irani.

Irani took to Instagram to post a meme and captioned it as, '#when you have waited for #deepveer #wedding #pics for too longgggg 🤦‍♀️'

The funny post was very relatable to all Deepika-Ranveer fans who have been on social media looking for any picture that they can find.

The wedding at Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy took place under surveillance as the celebrity couple has apparently deployed a high-end three-level security system to ensure complete privacy. Small powerboats manned by security guards were deployed to guard the venue. A wedding photographer has also been hired for the occasion, and it seems that they have requested the guests to not put up pictures on social media.

Reports suggest that the wedding celebrations hosted a limited number of guests mostly including friends and family. Although Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Farah Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, were expected to attend the event, none of them was spotted arriving at the event yet.

Though fans are still waiting for the official pictures of the couple in their wedding attires, photographs and videos of the limited view of the ceremony had gone viral immediately. The couple is likely to get married according to Sindhi customs on Thursday, 15 November.
