Sridevi’s shocking demise has left a void that can’t be filled in the hearts of her family, friends, and fans. The 54-year-old Bollywood actress reportedly passed away of a cardiac arrest in Dubai on Saturday. Sridevi reportedly had a fainting spell in her bathroom and was immediately rushed to Rashid Hospital in Dubai where she was declared dead. Sridevi had gone to UAE, along with her family, to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding.

As tributes continue to pour in on social media, one of Sridevi's reportedly last interviews where she speaks about her daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor is doing the rounds on social media.

When asked what advice she would like to give to Janhvi and Khushi, Sridevi had reportedly said in the interview that she wanted them to always do the ‘right’ things. She advised her daughters to always work hard and give their best as hard work always pays.

Sridevi had groomed and guided Janhvi to prep her for her Bollywood debut in ‘Dhadak’. In a cruel fate of luck, Sridevi passed away months before the release of ‘Dhadak’, which is expected to hit the screens on July 6, 2018. Meanwhile, Sridevi's mortal remains may only arrive in India later on Monday evening, as the Consul General of India in Dubai, Vipul, has confirmed to Republic TV that the relevant formalities are yet to be completed.

Sridevi made her Bollywood debut in 1978 with ‘Solva Sawan’. But it was only after five years with Jeetendra-starrer ‘Himmatwala’ that she gained commercial success. She took a break from acting for 15 years after starring in home production ‘Judaai’. She marked her return to the industry in 2012 with director Gauri Shinde's ‘English Vinglish’. In 2017, Sridevi starred a revenge drama 'Mom' which also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Akshaye Khanna. She also shot for a special appearance in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film ‘Zero’ which is scheduled to releases this December.
