Recently, the much-awaited trailer of 'Loveratri' that marks the debut of Salman Khan's brother in law Aayush Sharma was unveiled. The trailer of the film which stars Warina Hussain opposite Sharma is all things colourful and has an out-and-out Navratri feel in the backdrop of a heart touching love saga.

The trailer begins with a montage of shots that establish the city of Baroda and sets in the mood which is maintained throughout the 2:42-minute clip. Once the music catches pace, it only escalates from there on constantly reminding viewers about the film's festive setting. Going by the trailer, the film seems like a run of the mill love story which is slightly ambitious and can possibly take the 90s kid on a nostalgic trip. But we aren't making any comparisons with classics like 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' and 'Maine Pyar Kiya', but hoping we get to see all colours of romance that the trailer promises.

The trailer establishes Aayush Sharma's character as a happy-go-lucky Gujarati garba teacher from Baroda who falls in love with an NRI girl played by Warina Hussain. When Aayush's character spots his love interest for the first time the narrator is heard saying, "When you see her for the first time, the world will be high and dry, but it will be raining on you", a dialogue Bollywood movie buffs, probably not in the same words, have heard quite often. The trailer of the film goes on to reveal that the hero has 9 days and nights to win over the love of his life, while her father (played by Ronit Roy) is dead set against their match. While Aayush's performance looks promising, it would be interesting to see what Warina, who just had one dialogue in the trailer, has to offer.

Barring the surprise element of Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan playing the role of Police officers in the film, the trailer lacked novelty and wasn't anything we didn't already expect. Although whether the film manages to win over the audiences, only time will tell.

'Loveratri', which is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and written by Naren Bhatt is slated for a release on October 5, 2018. Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see Salman Khan's promotional tactics for the film which he has been going out and out to promote.
