Uday Chopra who featured in the 'Dhoom' franchise has been away from the limelight for quite some time. He is also an actor who is no stranger to ridicule and trolling as people have been unsparing towards his career over the years. However, he does put out some gems here and there on social media that really ring true and is super relatable and he has done so yet again with a random outburst.
Taking to Twitter, the actor wrote something that almost everyone will agree to in a fiery tweet. Slamming the social media culture of public outrage in even the slightest of matters, he questioned whether any mistakes are allowed in this day and age. Pointing out that no foolish act or even a small mistake is spared, the actor wondered if everyone had to just pretend to be perfect from now on. As Uday vented out his frustration on the adverse affect social media has had on people's lives, something truly hits home with his hard-hitting rant.
Here's what he wrote on the micro-blogging platform, "Is it the age of the outrage? No mistakes allowed? No misspoken words or foolish actions? Does everyone have to be perfect from now on? ELSE The social media police will get you!"
Netizens too were in agreement with his insight as many shared their own opinions on the matter. One said, "Social Media and society is extra judgemental", while another had a more positive outlook as they said, "Nonsense. Make mistakes. Apologize. Learn. Become a better person. It's not too hard."
It is still not clear on whether Uday's words were for a particular incident or if this cynical take is for the general scheme of things in today's society.
