Mumbai Police plays a vital role in ensuring the safety of the citizens, and the force’s contribution is helping Bollywood stars with their security, sometimes personal, or at events, is immense. The B-Town celebrities rightly conveyed their gratitude to the cops’ service by making their presence felt in large numbers at Umang, an event organised by them every year. One of the highlights of the event was the moment when Rohit Shetty and Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn, who play the cop characters he’s created came together.
The who’s who of Bollywood like Aamir Khan, Parineeti Chopra, Ayushmann Khurrana, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan not just made an appearance, but many of them also gave an energetic performance on the stage.
However, what could be better than the star ‘cops’ themselves coming together to support the police. Akshay aka Sooryavanshi took to Instagram to share the moment when all of the police characters, Ajay Devgn aka Bajirao Singham, Ranveer Singh aka Simmba were seen with their ‘creator’ Rohit.
In a boomerang video, we see the stars kicking high into the camera with delighted faces. ‘Khiladi Kumar’ captioned that it was how they signed off from the event. Ajay also shared a snap and wrote, ‘United for Mumbai Police.’ The trio had also come together on the stage for a fun act .
The stars were previously seen together at the ‘Simmba’ success bash and their photo had gone viral immediately.
While Ajay and Ranveer have delivered successes with Rohit’s cop movies, it’s now Akshay’s turn as they are set to begin the shooting of the movie soon.
