Very few people in the world have been termed as ‘God’, but Sachin Tendulkar is one of them. A lot of us are familiar with cameras getting stuck at spectators holding placards of ‘If cricket is a religion, Sachin is a god’ in the stands. It’s the magic of the legendary batsman that even six years after his retirement, wishes flooded social media as he turned 46.

One of the highlights among them was Aamir Khan wishing the former Indian captain with a lovely throwback picture, unlike how the latter had used ‘Aati Kya Khandala’ song reference on the actor’s birthday last month. Shah Rukh Khan, Lata Mangeshkar, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, Shreya Ghoshal,  Nivin Pauly, Dhanush, Saqib Saleem were among the others who wished the legend on his birthday.

On Aamir’s birthday on March 14,  Sachin had tweeted “A”, kya bolta tu?" and the actor had replied ‘Aata Kya Khandala?’ playing around with the lyrics of the song from ‘Ghulam.’

There were adjectives galore for the ‘Master Blaster’ like ‘Legend of legends’,‘greatest’, ‘inspiration to millions’, ‘only and one’, ‘God ji’, ‘most loved man’ and that the 'name is enough' as stars conveyed their ‘immense respect & admiration’ while wishing Sachin the ‘best of health and happiness’ . Directors like Madhur Bhandarkar and Mahesh Bhatt, shared the movie ‘God of Cricket's poster on his birthday.
