In a shocking turn of events, 'Uri' actor Vicky Kaushal fractured his cheekbone while shooting for his upcoming horror film directed by Pratap Singh. The incident occurred while he was shooting an action sequence wherein he had to run and open the door, but due to an error, the door fell right back on him and hurt him terribly. 

The actor and crew were shooting during the night in Alang, Gujarat. The place is popular for its biggest ship breaking yard and the team was scheduled for a rigorous shoot until the actor got injured.

Meanwhile, The ‘Josh’ is set to get high again as the blockbuster team of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is coming back! It has been confirmed that actor-director-producer trio, Vicky Kaushal-Aditya Dhar-Ronnie Screwvala are reuniting on a film based on the mythological character Ashwatthama. 

Ashwatthama is a character in the Mahabharata who was among the key figures representing Kauravas in the Kurukshetra War against the Pandavas. It goes without saying that Vicky will be playing the lead character.

According to reports, Aditya has been working on the film for a few years now, even before ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ had released. The director is currently prepping for the movie and will begin the recce and the research. Unlike ‘Uri’, which was shot in Siberia, this movie will be shot all over the country and the makers are targetting a mid-2020 release. 

On the personal front, the actor has been in the news for his break-up with Harleen Sethi. It was during his 'Koffee With Karan' episode, that the actor revealed that he was not single anymore, and was indeed seeing someone. Although he did not take Sethi's name, speculations were rife that it was indeed her.
