'URI' Teaser: Vicky Kaushal Looks Unrecognisable In His Latest Avatar

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, who is currently basking the success of 'Sanju' is all set to star in an upcoming film titled 'URI'. Recently, the makers of the film dropped the teaser of the film and looking at it one can say that the actor looks completely unrecognisable after his stint in 'Manmarziyaan'. The one-minute-seventeen second's teaser shows the 30-year-old actor playing the role of an Indian army officer. The teaser begins with family members of the soldiers paying their last respects to their loved ones and soon the scenes shift to the Indian army soldiers gunning down terrorists and carrying out surgical strikes. One can say that the one minute and seventeen seconds long trailer has quite a few emotional moments that make sit difficult to complete the trailer.

Earlier revealing the first look of the film, the actor tweeted " In the early hours of 29th September 2016, Indian soldiers avenged those who were martyred in the URI attacks. This is their brave story. #URITeaser out today at 12 noon. @yamigautam @SirPareshRawal @RonnieScrewvala #AdityaDhar @RSVPMovies."

Reportedly, commenting about his stint in the film, Vicky revealed that the entire team has worked very hard on the film and he is excited to know the audience reaction on the teaser of the film. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Yami Gautam, Kriti Kulhari, Paresh Rawal and television actor Mohit Raina in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on January 11, 2019. 

In 2016, the URI attack was among the most brutal battles from Pakistan that killed 19 soldiers. The attack took place in URI, Jammu and Kashmir. In a brave response to the neighbouring country, the Indian army carried out a surgical strike at (LoC) of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. On the work front, Vicky Kaushal has quite a few projects lined up in his kitty. Next, he will be seen in 'Takht' along with Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar and Janhvi Kapoor.
