Vicky Kaushal's film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' has created history yet again by breaking a record that was previously held by 'Baahubali 2', as reported by Trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The Aditya Dhar directorial's fifth-weekend collection is more than SS Rajamouli's week five collections.
Have a look:
The film's fourth Monday collection was close to the earnings of 'Baahubali 2's film which was released way back in 2017. The film had collected Rs 2.90 crores on the fourth Monday, while 'Uri' minted a total of Rs 2.84 crores.
The Aditya Dhar directorial is based on surgical strikes that were carried out by the Indian Army in Pakistan following the 2016 terror attacks at the Uri base camp. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina.
‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ has been a phenomenon at the box office and has been loved almost unanimously by the audiences. The biggest evidence of it was how Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other celebrities used the viral war cry ‘How’s the Josh.’
