With the continuing dominance by 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' at the box office, one can say that the Vicky Kaushal starrer is an absolute winner. The film has already minted Rs 100 crores and is reaching a staggering figure of Rs 229.7 crores after running in the theatres for more than 41 days now.
As per film trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film will gather momentum over its seventh weekend, a clear indication that it may even touch the Rs 240 crore-mark. The film is now just Rs 2 crore short of surpassing the lifetime collection of Kick (Rs 231.85 crore), Salman Khan’s Eid release of 2014.

The Aditya Dhar directorial is based on surgical strikes that were carried out by the Indian Army in Pakistan following the 2016 terror attacks at the Uri base camp. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, the film also stars Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, Paresh Rawal and Mohit Raina.
When the film beat the box office record and minted a total of Rs 200 crores, Vicky Kaushal penned down a rather heartfelt note to convey his gratitude to audiences.
