Hack:

  • Varun Dhawan posted a tweet explaining that he cannot click selfies in moving car
  • In 2017, the Mumbai Police had issued a challan to the actor for violation of traffic rules

Remember when Varun Dhawan was fined for taking a selfie with a fan in the traffic? In November 2017, the actor who was in his car popped his head out from the window to click a selfie with an enthusiastic fan who was in a rickshaw beside his car. Strangely, the pictures of this incident went viral. No, not the selfie, but pictures of the two getting ready for a selfie and clicking it. (It is a mystery as to who clicked the picture of this pure kindness).

The Mumbai Traffic was not too moved by this gesture from the actor and even issued a challan for risking his life and even his admirer. Back then the police had warned to be harsher the next time.

The 'Judwaa 2' actor later even apologized for his actions and tweeted that his intention was pure and did not mean any harm and only wanted to make his fan happy.

Ever since Varun has been real careful and on Saturday even posted a tweet that he takes rules very seriously. He tweeted, "I find it extremely tough to explain people that I can’t take a picture while im in a moving car. I would love to but it’s against the law and dangerous for u guys as well. Challan bhi Mila hai mujhe smile Karo baki sab badhiyaa hai."

On the work front, Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of his film 'Sui Dhaaga' opposite Anushka Sharma. The film traces Mauji and Mamta's journey of self-reliance. The film helmed by Sharat Katariya releases on September 28.
