Varun Dhawan To Do A Cameo In Salman Khan Starrer 'Bharat'?

Salman Khan starrer 'Bharat' has been in the news ever since the film was announced. Initially, global icon Priyanka Chopra was to star alongside Salman Khan as the female lead, but the actress decided to walk out of the project citing her engagement with Nick Jonas as the reason. Captain of the ship, Ali Abbas Zafar had then taken to Twitter to announce the news of Priyanka Chopra opting out of the production hinting towards her engagement with her beau.

However, Priyanka was quickly replaced by Katrina Kaif who as per reports, was the first choice for the role. Speculations were rife that Salman Khan was miffed with Priyanka Chopra for her sudden decision of opting out of the project. However, the actor clarified the same and thanked Katrina Kaif for stepping in. The team of the film flew to Malta for the outdoor shoot schedule and are still filming the movie. 

If reports are to be believed, Varun Dhawan will be a part of 'Bharat'. Reports suggest that the 'Main Tera Hero' actor will be seen in a special appearance for the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer. As per reports, Varun flew to Abu Dhabi on Tuesday, October 2, for his cameo. According to reports, the scene featuring Varun Dhawan and Salman Khan will be shot over the next few days. 

'Bharat' is helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar and s backed by Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Bhushan Kumar's T-Series and Salman Khan. The film which will release under the banner of Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films and T-Series also stars Disha Patani, Sunil Grover and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. 'Bharat' is an official adaptation of Korean film 'An Ode To My Father'. As per reports, the film has several scenes set in the backdrop of a circus. The film is slated to release during the festival of Eid in 2019.

What's next for Varun Dhawan 

Varun Dhawan is riding high on the success of his most recent release 'Sui Dhaaga-Made In India'. The actor will is currently working on 'Kalank' backed by Karan Johar and helmed by Abhishek Verman. Apart from Varun Dhawan, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur.
