Varun Dhawan celebrated David Dhawan's birthday by sharing the cutest picture from the sets of 'Coolie No.1'.

Varun Dhawan celebrated David Dhawan's birthday by sharing the cutest picture from the sets of 'Coolie No.1'. In the picture, the actor can be seen donning a porter's uniform with a badge on his arm while the ace-filmmaker can be seen in casuals wearing a white Nehru cap.  His post read,  “Happy birthday papa 🥇 मेरा नम्बर 1 डिरेक्टर । काम चालू हैं bhai लोग. Coolie number 1”

The picture also gained a special comment from Varun Dhawan's girlfriend, Natasha Dalal. Reacting to the post, she stated that she loved the picture.

This is the actor's third collaboration with his father after 'Judwaa 2' and 'Main Tera Hero', which is a remake of David's directorial venture featuring Karisma Kapoor and Govinda. He is currently prepping for the remake of 'Coolie No.1'. 

COOLIE NO.1 

The film is an adaptation of the timeless comedy of the same name which starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead. As per media reports, David has reunited with filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani for the upcoming project which is scheduled to go on floors on in August, this year. While David is all set to return as the director, Vashu Bhagnani, who bankrolled the 1995 classic comedy, will also produce the upcoming venture. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 1, 2020.

BTS VIDEO FROM THE SETS 

The actor also shared a hilarious BTS video where he can be seen getting a shaved done. While the funny commentary throughout the clip will tickle your funnybone, the final look of the actor sporting a quirky moustache is sure to leave you in splits. He also puts forward an important life-lesson through his post. Quoting American writer Elbert Hubbard, he captioned the post saying, "Do not take live too seriously. You will never get out of it alive."
