Veteran actress Vidya Sinha passes away at 71 in Mumbai, netizens mourn her demise

Bollywood and TV actress Vidya Sinha, best known for films like 'Pati, Patni Aur Woh' died at the age of 71 on August 15.

Veteran actor Vidya Sinha, popular for her role in 'Pati Pati aur Woh' breathed her last on August 15. 

The actress was admitted at a suburban hospital in Mumbai on August 10 reportedly due to breathing problems. Sinha was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu on Thursday. As per reports, she was suffering from lung and heart disorders and had been put on a ventilator in the ICU. 

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar and other celebrities took to Twitter to mourn Vidya Sinha's demise.

 

"She is not well right now... Beyond this I can't comment anything," Sinha's daughter Janhavi had told PTI. 

The veteran actor is best known for her performances alongside Amol Palekar in "Rajnigandha" and "Chhoti Si Baat" and in mainstream commercial space for "Pati Patni Aur Woh" among others. She also featured in Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer 'Bodyguard' .She has also acted in quite a few TV shows like " Kkavyanjali", "Qubool Hai" and "Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala".
