If there is one celebrity who had a ‘rags to riches’ year in terms of popularity and success, it has to be Vicky Kaushal. After critical acclaim for films like 'Masaan' and 'Raman Raghav 2.0', it was 2018 that turned out to the turning point for the actor. With ‘Raazi’ and ‘Sanju’ turning out to be blockbusters this year and his performances in ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Lust Stories’ and 'Love per Square Foot' being appreciated, the ‘Zubaan’ star is being termed as one of the most promising actors of the current generation.

No doubt, popularity brings along with it invitations to some of the most famous shows on various platforms. Vicky will be making his debut on ‘Koffee with Karan’ and has now shot for his first appearance on Neha Dhupia's podcast ‘No Filter Neha’, where he made some interesting statements. One of them was about his fear of horror films. He revealed how watched Salman Khan and Aamir Khan’s ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ only to get over ‘The Conjuring.’

"I can’t watch horror films. I am the biggest fattu. I have watched The Conjuring with a group of friends and I was so fattaoed (scared) after that. My friends had gone off to sleep. I had to watch ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ right after it to erase all the memories of ‘The Conjuring.’ I watched Andaz Apna Apna and that’s when I felt normal and that’s when I could go to sleep."

Neha also recently shared a teaser from the shoot where Vicky confessed to being ‘self-obsessed’. He also seemed to hint at one incident from the sets of ‘Lust Stories’, where the crew would matter-of-factly ask him to ‘pounce’ on Kiara Advani. On swiping left or right for the names mentioned, he left swipes Taapsee Pannu as she ‘left’ him in 'Manmarziyaan' and also seemed to confirm his relationship with alleged girlfriend Harleen Sethi by asking Neha to go ‘up and up.’ The actor also crooned the song, ‘Jaana tha Japan pahuch gaye Cheen samajh gaye na’ when asked about going to a party on the pretext of being ‘set up’, but instead falling in love with another woman.
