Ace-filmmaker Karan Johar has stepped out of his usual genre of romance and drama and tried his hand at horror.

Starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role, the first part of the film is titled as 'Bhoot-Part One: The Haunted Ship". Reportedly. the film will be helmed by Bhanu Pratap Singh and the shooting for the film was completed a few weeks back.

And now makers have unveiled the first poster of the film, where Kaushal can be seen screaming while being stranded in a wrecked ship. Vicky tweeted the intriguing poster stating, "Nothing haunts you more than reality. Presenting #Bhoot Part One - The Haunted Ship, directed by @Bps_91. In cinemas 15th November, 2019. @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @shashankkhaitan @DharmaMovies"

The film is slated to release on November 15, 2019. Ever since the poster has been released, social media can't stop gushing over the fact that Johar progressively is several untapped genres. Read some reactions below:

Kaushal was last seen in 'Uri', that broke all box office records and minted a total of Rs 200 crores. Apart from him, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina, among others is based on the surgical strikes carried out by the Indian Army over terrorist camps in Pakistan in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri in 2016. While Yami Gautam essayed the role of an interrogation officer, the 'Raazi' star, played the role of an army officer in the Aditya Dhar directorial, which earned him humongous praises.
