Actor Vicky Kaushal has been making the headlines for his stellar performance in any and every role he has signed up to play.  Whether it be a Pakistani army officer in ‘Raazi’ or Sanjay Dutt’s confidante in the biopic titled ‘Sanju’, this actor has won hearts across the nation. His latest portrayal as a struggling punjabi rapper in the Anurag Kashyap directorial ‘Manmarziyaan’ left the audience aww-struck. The film has been lauded for its commendable script, stellar performances by Taapsee Pannu, Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal and Amit Trivedi's path-breaking music.

Vicky Kaushal’s portrayal of a stubborn, passionate, young at heart lover quickly made him a heartthrob amongst one and all. Speaking about matters of the heart, in a recent interview the actor spilled the beans on his love life.

While to speaking to comedian Mallika Dua during her chat show, 'Midnight Misadventures With Mallika Dua', the actor revealed he turned poet post his break-up.  The actor said, “I think it is the only time when I turned into a poet. Every break-up story is great, you start hearing sad songs. Chalo ek baar fir se hum ajnabeei banjaye..”

The 30-year-old actor has been riding high on the success of his recent releases 'Raazi' starring Alia Bhatt and 'Manmarziyaan' starring Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu. The actor was also a part of Netflix's original web series 'Lust Stories' which was a huge success. Kaushal played the role of Paras in a segment which was helmed by Karan Johar.  



Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in 'Uri' which is based on the terrorist attack on the army camp in Uri, Kashmir in 2016. This is not the first time that Vicky will essay the role of an army officer. He previously essayed the role of Iqbal Syed who was a part of the Pakistan Army in Alia Bhatt starrer 'Raazi' which was helmed by Meghna Gulzar. 'Uri' will feature Kaushal as a para-commando in the special forces, as reported. 'Uri' also stars actress Yami Gautam and will be helmed by debutante director Aditya Dhar who is known for the National Award winning short drama 'Boond'. The actor will also be seen in Karan Johar's multi-starrer titled, 'Takht'.
