Vivek Oberoi, Prashant Narayanan And Others Begin Shooting For PM Narendra Modi Biopic In Uttarakhand, Take A Look

Starting from Manmohan Singh's 'The Accidental Prime Minister' to Bala Saheb's 'Thackeray,' and now 'PM Narendra Modi,' looks like 2019 is a year of interesting biopics. After announcing the interesting star cast having a brilliant mix of some veteran actors and young faces, the makers of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's biopic have begun shooting for the upcoming venture with top-notch enthusiasm. 

Following extensive filming at various locations around the country like Kutch, Bhuj and Ahmedabad, the cast of the film have now started shooting for the same in Uttarakhand.

Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and confirmed the news. He shared a behind the scene picture from the sets of the film featuring lead actor Vivek Oberoi, Prashant Narayanan, and others where they can be seen gearing up for the shoot. In the post, Adarsh wrote, "After extensive filming at various locations of #Kutch, #Bhuj and #Ahmedabad, #PMNarendraModi begins filming in #Uttarakhand... Stars Vivek Anand Oberoi in title role... Directed by Omung Kumar... Produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip Ssingh."

The film starring Vivek Oberoi as the Indian Prime Minister also stars Darshan Kumaar, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Manoj Joshi, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Akshat R Saluja, Anjan Shrivastav, Rajendra Gupta and Yatin Karyekar, in the lead.

The biopic will follow the journey of PM Modi from his humble beginnings to his years as Chief Minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 election and finally being nominated as the Prime Minister of India. 

The film will be directed by Omung Kumar, who has previously helmed some critically acclaimed biopic films including 'Mary Kom' and 'Sarbjit'. It is going to be produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandip SSingh under the banner of Legend Global Studio. Reportedly, the film will be shot across Gujarat, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, among other locations in the country, over a period of a few months.
