War dazzles everyone at the box office, achieves a rare feat

War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff is on its second week and is running splendidly well at the ticketing counters. The film also achieved a rare feat

War starring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff is on its second week and is running splendidly well at the ticketing counters. Showing big gains on the weekend, the film has crossed Rs 275 crores and has emerged as the 11th highest-grossing film after Baahubali and Dangal. Achieving a rare feat, it has also left behind The Sky Is Pink, that released just this weekend and is facing tough competition from the Hrithik Roshan starrer. Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh also took to social media and informed the masses about the mammoth business generated by Yash Raj Productions.

War achieves a rare feat 

War garnered over ₹ 51.60 crores on the first day itself. The Tamil and Telugu versions of the film collected over ₹ 53.35 crores as well. The film crossed the benchmark for the highest opening for any Hrithik Roshan movie. War was the highest opening for co-star Tiger Shroff and Yash Raj Films as well. The film opened in over 4000 screens in India.

At a press conference for War, Hrithik commented on how he feels blessed with two back-to-back hits in 2019. He expressed that he feels encouraged as an artist to do better work. Talking about his co-star Tiger Shroff, Hrithik said that he has much admiration and love for the person that Tiger is. He also said that working with a younger actor has been a learning experience for him as well.
