Sunny Deol made a grand start to his political career by winning his first election in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls. In one of the most important moments, the actor-politician also attended a meeting of the newly-elected members of Parliament at the Parliament's Central Hall on Saturday. The 62-year-old returned to Mumbai on Sunday.
Deol, dressed in a black T-shirt and blue jeans, was snapped at the city airport as he returned in the afternoon. As he made his way out of the airport, one can see him all smiles, happily flashing the victory sign and even posing for selfie-seeking fans.

The Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from Gurdaspur, Punjab won 551177 votes and beat Sunil Jakhar of the Congress by 82459 votes.
The ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ star had conveyed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President Amit Shah and the people of Gurdaspur for reposing faith in him after his victory.
His father, former MP and veteran actor, Dharmendra, brother, actor Bobby Deol, half-sister, actor Esha Deol and son Karan, who’s set to make his debut under his father’s direction, had congratulated him for his victory.
On Saturday, he attended the NDA Parliamentary Board meeting.
