Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently took up the viral 'bottle cap challenge' after being inspired by 'Hobbs & Shaw' star Jason Statham.

Hollywood actor Jason Statham recently took the internet by storm recently after a video of him performing the latest 'bottle cap challenge' went viral on the internet. The challenge which is the current online sensation requires one to unscrew a cap from a bottle with their foot in the middle of a kick, without moving the bottle. Being inspired by the 'Hobbs & Shaw' star, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently took up the online challenge. On Wednesday, July 3, he shared a video on Instagram where he can be seen acing the moves as he kicks off the cap of a bottle. In the post, the actor said that he couldn't resist the '#BottleCapChallenge' after being inspired by Statham, who he considers his 'action idol'. The actor further extended a message of fit India and asked Indian boys and girls to 'get your Bottle out and your Legs in the Air'.

The Internet has hosted several online challenges in the past couple of years. After the 'Kiki Challenge' that took the internet by storm last year, the 'bottle cap challenge' has become the current sensation with celebrities around the world giving it a go. On Monday, the 'Fast and Furious' actor Jason Statham shared a video of him performing the challenge on Instagram and proved that he is a pro both on and off the screen.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay Kumar is currently busy shooting for his upcoming cop drama 'Sooryavanshi'. The film directed by Rohit Shetty also stars Katrina Kaif in the lead. It is all set to hit the theaters on March 27, 2020.
