Akshay Kumar shared the first video of his upcoming movie ‘Kesari’, which in its 30-second duration manages to create an impact despite the actor’s face not even being seen.
In the first clip from the ‘Glimpses of Kesari’, we see the members of the opponent army arriving furiously with sticks and swords to attack a lone warrior, seemingly Akshay’s character, who has two weapons in his hand. We then see the visual of the sword in his hand heating up as his enemies' approach in big numbers. Even in the short snippet, the picturisation and the background music might just give you goosebumps.
To explain the backdrop of the happenings, ‘Kesari’ is the story of the Battle of Saragarhi, a battle fought between 21 Sikh soldiers of the British Regiment and 10,000 Afghans in 1897. ‘Khiladi Kumar’ plays the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, who was the head of the army. The Battle of Saragarhi is considered among the most famous battles in Indian history, as the tagline of the movie aptly describes, ‘The bravest battle ever fought.’
