Ranveer Singh who tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Deepika Padukone a month ago is currently on cloud nine. Not only is he enjoying marital bliss, but he is also tasting some professional success. The actor was awarded the Best Actor at the Star Screen Awards for the role of Alauddin Khilji in 'Padmaavat'. At this joyous occasion, the couple shared a beautiful moment that would leave their fans emotional.
After winning the accolade, Ranveer took the stage and gave one of the most moving speeches ever. Taking the mic, he started off jokingly and said that he did not get the queen in the film, but he got her in real life. Then as the crowd cheered and applauded for this fantastic line, he added that "Baby, I love you". He also confessed that all the success that has achieved in these last six years is because of her for she kept him focused and grounded. Needless to say, Deepika was really moved by this speech and at the occasion shed a few tears of happiness. Ranveer even shared the picture on his Instagram with the caption 'Proud wifey'. Well, the two are definitely setting major relationship goals for all couples, celebrity or otherwise.
The actor also thanked Sanjay Leela Bhansali for honing him to the actor that he is today and also expressed his undying gratitude to the team of 'Padmaavat'. He also shared a picture of himself holding the trophy as he looked proud and happy with the achievement.
Meanwhile, he is also excited for his upcoming venture 'Simmba' which will be his first release post-nuptials. Also starring Sara Ali Khan, the Rohit Shetty directorial is all set to release on December 28.
