Ayushmann Khurrana celebrates 'World Music Day' in a unique way, shares clips from his films' songs stating how 'the world would be so boring without music'.

It's June 21, a day to celebrate a number of occasions. With International Yoga Day and the beginning of Summer Solstice coinciding, it also happens to be 'World Music Day'. Celebrated in more than 120 countries, World Music Day reportedly originated from France where it is known as ‘Fête de la Musique’ which translates to “festival of music” to honour professional as well as amateur musicians.

To commemorate the day, Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana took to Twitter and extended a post heartwarming post on social media. He put up a video constituting of clips from songs of his films to celebrate 'World Music Day'. While the first song features him singing 'Pani Da Rang' with a guitar in his hand in 'Vicky Donar', the second song is 'Nazm Nazm' from 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and the third is 'Naina Da Kya Kasoor' from 'Andhadhun'.

Adding an interesting twist to the post, he first put up the videos without any music first to make people understand how 'the world would be so boring without music' and later he put the music videos stating- "Everything is better with music" as he wished everyone 'Happy Music Day'.

Ayushmann Khurrana who is known for his versatility in the field of acting is also an amazing musician. The actor who is equally good in singing and instruments often voices songs of his films. He also has a band that does concerts worldwide.


Meanwhile, on the work front, Ayushmann is gearing up for the release of his upcoming venture 'Article 15' which deals with social injustice and caste discrimination. The film directed by Anubhav Sinha is inspired by the heinous Badaun rape incident where two teenage girls were gang-raped and gruesomely murdered by hanging them while they were still alive.

Apart from Ayushmann, the film also stars Manoj Pahwa, Sayani Gupta, Kumud Mishra, M Naser, Ashish Verma, Sushil Pandey, Subrajyoti Bharat, and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub in the film. The film, produced by Benaras Media Works, is slated to hit the theatres on June 28.
