Emraan Hashmi may have become famous with the help of some steamy scenes,  but he seems to have really evolved as a performer. His upcoming film 'Why Cheat India' is a great example of that. The film which is based on India's education system and its corresponding loopholes has really got everyone intrigued.

Recently, in an exclusive interview with Republic TV, the star cast of 'Cheat India', Emraan Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary answered a few fun rapid-fire questions and revealed quite a few interesting details.

The rapid fire was based on the theme 'first time'. Below are all the ten questions asked to the star cast.

1. To Emraan: When was your 'first time' when you decided to be an actor?

It was back in 1998, I wanted to go to the stage to be a VFX designer, and then it just happened, by accident. I am an 'Accidental actor'.

The same question was asked to Emraan's co-star Shreya she said:

It was when I saw 'Terminator 2: Judgment Day', I decided that I want to be an actor.

Oh, it was quite disastrous. I had to give some 30-35 retakes. But, the next day was great, but the first day was really bad.

When the same question was asked to Emraan's co-star Shreya, she said:

Oh, it was great and you know that is when the light bulb moment happened, and then I thought that I really wanted to do this.

3. To Emraan: When was the first time you cheated and got caught?

I was allowed to cheat by the invigilator, and he did not really want to catch anybody so we did not get caught.

When the same question was asked to Shreya, she said:

Yes yes, I cheated, you also cheated right? We all cheat.

4. To Emraan: When was the first time someone pulled a prank on you?

I don't really remember. I think it was when I was still back in school.

When the same question was asked to Shreya, she said:

Oh, I don't really like pulling pranks on people, and nobody has pulled a prank on me yet.

5. To Emraan: What the first app that you check in the morning?

I always have my phone on airplane mode so then I switch it off and the first app I check is the alarm.

When asked the same question to Shreya, she said:

I think for me it's the alarm too and then WhatsApp.

8. To Shreya: When was the first time you met Emraan?

Oh, it was at his place when we were script reading for 'Cheat India', and Emraan actually horrified me, with his excellent command over the script. He knew everything-all the commas, the full stops, the page numbers. So, yes you can say that I was pleasantly horrified.

9. To Emraan: What is the first thing that you do in the morning?

I actually put the alarm off, and then I brush my teeth.

When asked the same question to Shreya, she said:

The first thing even I do is put the alarm off, and then I go to the toilet.

10. To Emraan: Who is your go-to man, when you are happy or sad?

Oh, well that is actually my son.

When the same question was asked to Shreya, she said:

My go-to person when I am upset or happy is my father.

'Cheat India' starring Emraan Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthary in the lead has been written and directed by Soumik Sen and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar and Emraan's wife Parveen Hashmi.

The makers have dropped in the official trailer of the film on December 12 and the film looks promising from the preview. It seems to be a gripping ride filled with twists and turns as the trailer sees the actor luring brilliant students into writing exams on behalf of others with money while assuring them they won’t get caught.
