Makers of the much-anticipated Bollywood venture 'Kalank' have finally unveiled the first teaser of the film on Tuesday, March 12. Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Twitter and shared the teaser and the film looks promising from the initial visuals. Featuring Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit, and Sanjay Dutt in the lead the film seems to be dealing with the conflict of love.

Ahead of the same, a grand teaser launch was held in Mumbai which was attended by the lead actors and the filmmakers. The speculated pairs in the film matched their outfit for the event. The celebrities appeared to have a blast on stage as they posed the paparazzi. They had a number of fun moments when Varun and Alia recreated their iconic 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' pose as Varun lifted Alia in his arms. However, at one point in time, Alia became very emotional and hailed her friend and director Abhishek Varman for the hard work he has put in this project.

 Viewers are mesmerized by the grandeur of the teaser. From a royal setting to a gripping storyline, the film appears to narrate a tale of royalty, duty, rivalry, and love. The period drama set in the 1940s will be helmed by debutant director Abhishek Verman and will be jointly produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Fox Star Studios. It is all set to hit the theatres on April 19, 2019.
