Riding high on the impressive box office performance of his latest, ‘Super 30’, crossing Rs 50-crore in three days, Hrithik Roshan avoided answering a question about Kangana Ranaut at a press conference in Patna on Tuesday.

On the occasion of ‘Guru Purnima’, Hrithik, along with his real-life avatar, mathematician and educationist Anand Kumar, and his brother Pranav Kumar, attended a press conference in the Bihar capital.

Towards the end of the media interaction, the actor was asked about what he had to say about the claims made by Kangana in her recent interviews.

Hrithik, despite hearing the query, didn’t respond initially and then pretended to be busy with another person and chose not to answer the question.

During the interview, however, his focus was firmly on 'Super 30.' He thanked the journalists and the audiences for the support for the film.  The actor raved about Anand Kumar too saying that he touched his feet on Guru Purmina and that he will remember his teachings for the rest of his life.

The controversy between the ‘Krrish 3’ co-stars over an alleged affair, leak of private emails and intimate pictures, alleged marriage proposal and legal notices had made headlines at the start of 2016.  The row had recently resurfaced after Kangana’s ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’ and ‘Super 30’ were set to clash on July 26, before Hrithik changed the release date of his film to save himself from, what he termed as ‘toxic mental violence.’

While Hrithik avoided the query on Kangana at this instance, in one of his recent interviews, the actor had reacted to ‘provocation’ over Kangana’s digs at him, saying that ‘bullies’ had to be treated with patience and not by engaging with him.

The 45-year-old said the so-called ‘just and fair’ civil society had to judge if there was harassment or not in his case. The ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ star stated that he is termed as an ‘aggressor’ when he decides to take the legal route, but as ‘weakling penning a sob story’ when he withdraws from a film clash. Hrithik then asserted that in both the cases, he has learned not to be affected by it.

However, he stated that what affected him the most was ‘supposedly enlightened people’ who supported the behaviour against him as ‘new’ and ‘refreshing audacity’, without any attempt to be rational and truthful. The actor termed this section as the ‘enablers’ that allowed the ‘circle’ to run for six years.

Regarding the legal battle with Kangana, Hrithik stated that he doesn’t have any legal case with the ‘lady’. The actor said that the reason for the same was because ‘apparently a man cannot be stalked in India.’
