On the first day of 2019, the actress went swimming in the English Channel with her sisters. Of course, the temperature was freezing and was actually zero degrees, as mentioned by Kat herself. In the video released by her on Instagram, she can be seen running into the cold water with her sisters. As soon as they got in, they can be heard screaming and shouting as soon as they came into contact with the frigid water.

After braving the cold for a few seconds, the trio can be seen running back to land as they are shivering and laughing. She also shared a picture of herself with her sisters as they are all swaddled in bathrobes, sitting on the rocky beach. Along with this strange adventure, she also had some words of advice to all her followers, the first one being, "Lessons for the new year - best to swim in the sea in the summer months."
