The Accidental Prime Minister' is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The political drama is based on former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and his tenure as PMO and stars Anupam Kher in the lead. The film is established on a book of the same title written by former media advisor to Dr Manmohan Singh, Sanjay Baru, who claimed that a significant amount of power of the PMO was wielded by then Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
