At an award function, Alia Bhatt presented the award for Best Actor (Male), and it was none other than Ranbir Kapoor for his mind-blowing performance in 'Sanju'. 'Grabbing the limelight, the actress said, "The award goes to my all time favourite, Ranbir Kapoor for Sanju'" 

Ranbir walked up to the stage and collected his award from his lady love. Post that, the Sanju actor gave a heartfelt speech, thanking everyone and then dedicated his award to 'two very special people' in his life, his father Rishi Kapoor and his mother Neetu Kapoor. 

He also mentioned how Rishi Kapoor is currently going through a rough patch in life owing to his health. "I've often heard when you come into some kind of crossroads in life you can really tell who you are as a person," he said while talking about her father, who's currently being treated in the US.

He also shared how his father often speaks to him about the movies and his insecurity. "He speaks to me about his insecurity, that when he gets back, will he get to work in the movies, will people offer him films, will he be able to act in movies and that kind of inspiration and passion and madness is what brings all this to perspective."

Meanwhile, the two will be seen sharing screen space for the first time in 'Brahmastra'.The film is said to be a romantic-fairytale in a supernatural format. The sci-fi drama starring  Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy is one of the most-anticipated films of the year and fans are eagerly waiting for its release.
