With back to back hit ventures, Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has proved himself to be one of the most bankable actors of the industry. The actor who is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming sports drama '83' is roped for yet another venture titled 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' under the Yash Raj Films banner. The actor took to Instagram on Monday, May 27, and announced his next project.

Sharing a picture flaunting the script of the upcoming venture, Ranveer wrote, "Its a ‘miracle script’!!! Thrilled to announce my next film - ‘JAYESHBHAI JORDAAR’ @yrf #JayeshbhaiJordaar"

Here's the post:

The movie is helmed by debutant director Divyang Thakkar and bankrolled by YRF's Maneesh Sharma. As per media reports, Ranveer will take up the role of a Gujarati man in the upcoming venture which is all set to go on floors in October this year.

Meanwhile, the actor has also shared a short-clip with his director Divyang Thakkar, where they can be seen engaging in a fun filled conversation announcing the making of the film in Gujrati. However, this is not the first time Ranveer will take up the role of a Gujarati. He has played the role of a Gujarati boy before in the 2013 Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela.

Meanwhile, this is the second collaboration of Ranveer with YRF and Maneesh Sharma. His debut film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' opposite Anushka Sharma was also backed by YRF and directed by Maneesh Sharma.

On the other hand,  Ranveer is prepping up for his next film '83,' based on Kapil Dev's 1983 World cup win. The film is directed by Kabir Khan and will see the 'Padmavat' actor essaying the role of Kapil Dev.
