WATCH: Ranveer Singh gatecrashes a wedding, strikes a pose with the newlyweds

From the pictures and videos that have been shared on Instagram, one can be sure that Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh gatecrashed a wedding and surprised the couple. Reportedly, the wedding was being held in the same hotel, where Singh was promoting his upcoming film 'Simmba'. 

In the videos, Ranveer Singh can be seen dressed in a brown jacket and shades, while striking a pose with his fans and congratulating the newlyweds amidst a huge crowd gathering around him.

The wedding was taking place at JW Marriott in Juhu, where incidentally the actor was present too. And so given the fact that the 'Padmaavat' actor recently tied the knot with long-time girlfriend Deepika Padukone, he decided to go and congratulate the couple. 

On the work front, Ranveer is currently busy promoting her upcoming film 'Simmba' that is directed by Rohit Shetty and is an official adaptation of Jr NTR-starrer Telugu film 'Temper'.

The film is said to be the story of a corrupt cop Simmba who enjoys being a corrupt cop and takes full advantage of its lifestyle until one day his loved ones are hurt. 

 He eventually finds himself transforming and is forced to choose a more righteous path. Beside Ranveer Singh, the film also stars Bollywood newbie Sara Ali Khan, Sonu Sood, Siddharth Jadhav and  Ashutosh Rana in the lead roles. The film is produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions and is all set to hit the theatres on December 28, 2018.
