Similarly, once upon a time, the ‘Natraj Shot’ was one such stroke that Kapil Dev was known for. As Ranveer Singh steps into shoes of the legendary all-rounder for ‘83', the actor had the privilege to witness the magic in front of his eyes,,] and even Deepika Padukone had a word of advice for her husband.

Ranveer took to Instagram to share a video where Kapil Dev showcases his popular Natraj Shot in the nets. The actor, who’s all padded up, immediately reacts with delight after seeing the legend's trademark shot as if to spot how to go about it. As one can see, the shot is similar to a pull shot, only that the batsman’s leg is lifted like the Nataraja. What’s great to see is Kapil Dev seemed to pull it off so effortlessly despite him retiring 25 years back.
