One of the first Bollywood stars to inspire a generation towards bodybuilding, Salman Khan, has still got the firepower at the age of 53 and his latest video is proof. The ‘Ready’ star recently attended a fitness event, where he showcased the bench press for 60 reps leaving the crowd cheering and applauding. Even his ‘Kick’ and ‘Race 3’ co-star Jacqueline Fernandez was left awed by the workout.

The ‘Ready’ star recently attended a fitness event, dressed in his trademark black T-shirt and blue jeans, where he showcased the bench press for 60 reps. The actor struggled towards the end, but still pushed himself to complete the target he had in mind, as was evident in how he smilingly counted during the spell. 

Salman’s act left the crowd gathered at the venue cheering and applauding. In his caption, the actor suggested the viewers of the video to do the exercise every day if possible, but not without a trainer's supervision.

Even his ‘Kick’ and ‘Race 3’ co-star Jacqueline Fernandez was left awed by the workout and conveyed it with the ‘hi-five’ and heart emoticons.

The event was a part of the upcoming Mumbai Marathon, set to take place on January 20. Even his brother Arbaaz Khan and friend Iulia Vantur accompanied him.

From participating in Union Minister Col Rajyavardhan Rathore's #5MinuteAur challenge by sharing a video where we see him cycling and another where he is playing cricket on sets of 'Bharat' recently, are some of the other activities that keep Salman fit.
