The equation between Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif has always been much talked-about. While their rumoured affair and break-up many years ago, followed by their current friendship amid a probable romantic reunion have always made headlines before. While the status of their relationship might not be clear, one thing that is certain is that whenever they come together, sparks fly, be it on screen or off it. The duo is being loved for their pairing in ‘Bharat’, and the bonding was very much on display again as they attended an event related to their film for the first time. Amid fans terming the pair as ‘bhai-bhabhi’ (brother and his wife), Salman quipped he was not ‘Bhaijaan’ for Katrina and instead used the word ‘Meri Jaan’ (my life) for her.
As Salman-Katrina made their first public appearance in some time at the launch of the song ‘Zinda’ from ‘Bharat’ on Friday, netizens went gaga over their pairing, calling them ‘Jodi no 1’ and much more. During the event, when a journalist asked the actress a question while addressing Salman as ‘Bhaijaan’, the latter was quick to interrupt. “Not a Bhaijaan for her”. When the reporter corrected himself that he was a ‘Bhaijaan’ for them all, the ‘Tere Naam’ star then quipped, “You never know she might call me Bhaijaan.”
The duo then shared some quirky expressions at each other, which was cute.
Later, when the 'Zero' star was asked if not Bhaijaan, what should she like to call her co-star. The 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' star then interrupted again, 'Meri Jaan.'
