Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is riding high on the positive reviews on his latest stint, 'Kabir Singh'. The film is the remake of Telugu film, 'Arjun Reddy' which featured Vijay Deverakonda. Directed by the original director, Sandeep Vanga, the film also features Kiara Advani. Recently, a video of the actor has surfaced on the internet, where he can be spotted at a theatre to surprise his fans.
Meanwhile, Bollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani's 'Kabir Singh' is creating a storm at the box office. After earning Rs 70.83 crores in the opening weekend, the film has passed the Monday test with flying colours. As per estimates, it has earned a total of 17 crores, thus taking the total collection to Rs 82.83 crores. The film which released in 3123 screens in India is going strong in single screens as well as multiplexes. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film is a remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy.
However, a Mumbai based doctor has written to the Union Health Minister and the Censor Board, requesting a stay on the film as it tarnishes the image of medical professionals, and brings all of them under a bad light. According to him, 'Kabir Singh' has distorted the image of a professional without any grounds of reality.
