After mesmerising the audience with her soulful performance in 'Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahi' song from her film 'Meri Pyaari Bindu' last year, actress Parineeti Chopra has turned singer yet again for her film 'Kesari'. The actress recently lent her voice to the film's hit number 'Teri Mitti' and the female version of the song is sure to soothe your soul.

The actress who recently revealed that she recorded the song, released the music video on Tuesday, April 16. She shared the track on Instagram and penned a heartfelt note along with it. In the post, she said singing is her first love and opened up about how she has been very much fond of it since childhood. 

"I think the crux of who I am is my love for singing. NOTHING in the world centres me more, focuses me and makes me happy than just plain singing. I sing all day. And when I am not singing out loud, I am humming in my head. It is my first love. My mom tells me I used to sing the ABC song when I was a year old! Anyway, you get it ❤️ Anyone who has heard me sing, has a piece of my soul 💖 my version of #TeriMitti. Thank you, Karan, Akshay sir, Anurag sir, Azeem, Arko, Aditya, Manoj and Arko for letting me do this. @karanjohar @akshaykumar@azeemdayani @anurag_singh_films" she captioned the post as saying.

Meanwhile, 'Kesari' starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in the lead became the top grosser of the year owing to its opening day collections and has crossed another benchmark as it has now minted over Rs. 150 crores at the box office. The actress in previous posts revealed that she came up with this unique way of recording a female version of the hit number to celebrate the film's success.
